How to Receive a Massage or Body Treatment

Treatments are usually not part of your everyday lifestyle. You may feel shy or uneasy about receiving your first massage. It is our utmost goal to put you at ease and assist you in achieving the maximum benefit. After your first, we are confident that you will have no such concerns in the future.

Before a Massage or Body Treatment
Consider to...
Arrive 30 minutes early to relax in the steam room, far infrared sauna, take a shower. and change into a robe, put on some slippers, and enjoy complimentary beverages.
Mention any medical conditions such as high blood pressure, heart problems, headaches, varicose veins, recent surgeries, areas which are sore or tense.
Attire: Robes, sandals, and towels will be provided, professional draping techniques are practiced, disposable under garments are available. A bathing suit may be used for spa-jet session but not required.
During the session, close your eyes and allow yourself to relax as completely as possible. Focus your attention on breathing slowly and deeply.
Allow the therapist to move your limbs into position. Be limp like a rag doll and do not try to help by moving your limbs or head until the therapist requests your assistance.
If you feel uncomfortable it is important you tell your therapist to discontinue the session immediately and state your concerns to the spa director or on-site management.
